As the Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including:
- Providing strong, visionary leadership to the nursery staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Ensuring the nursery's policies, procedures, and practices are in line with relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices in early years education
- Overseeing the recruitment, training, and development of the nursery staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional care
- Monitoring and evaluating the nursery's performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing effective strategies to drive continuous enhancement
- Maintaining effective communication with parents/carers, addressing their concerns, and ensuring they are fully informed about their child's progress and development
- Managing the nursery's budget, resources, and financial operations to ensure efficient and effective use of funds
- Representing the nursery at external events, networking with industry professionals, and building collaborative partnerships to enhance the nursery's reputation and reach

To thrive in this role, you will need to possess a unique blend of leadership, management, and early years expertise. A relevant degree in Childcare, Early Years Education, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Nursery Manager or in a similar senior childcare role, is essential. You should also hold a Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in Childcare and a valid Paediatric First Aid certificate.

Moreover, you will need to demonstrate a deep understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and a genuine passion for nurturing the growth and development of young children.
