We’re looking for a Neighbourhood Assistant to join our Neighbourhood Housing Team in Warrington. This is a key business support
role, providing high-quality clerical and administrative support to the Neighbourhood Housing Manager and Officers, while acting
as an important point of contact for tenants and residents. You’ll play a vital role in supporting tenancy and estate management,
ensuring services are delivered Right First Time, and helping the team run smoothly day to day. If you enjoy working with people,

What you’ll be doing:
* Providing comprehensive administrative and clerical support within the Neighbourhood Housing Team
* Acting as a first point of contact for tenants and customers, dealing with enquiries by phone, email and face to face
* Supporting tenancy and estate management activity, including estate walkabouts and impact days
* Managing electronic filing and records in line with data protection and legal requirements
* Processing purchase orders, invoices, payments and petty cash in line with financial regulations
* Managing keys and fobs
* Arranging appointments, managing diaries, organising meetings and taking minutes
* Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, including the Neighbourhood mailbox
* Liaising with internal teams including Income, Allocations & Lettings, and Tenancy Sustainment
* Promoting digital services and supporting tenants to access online transactions
* Supporting partnership working with external agencies
* Attending meetings and events, including occasional evenings and weekends
What we're looking for:
* GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)
* Experience working in a neighbourhood or housing-related setting
* Strong administrative skills with experience dealing with customers
* Commitment to excellent customer service and the ‘Every Contact Counts’ approach
* Ability to communicate effectively with tenants, colleagues and partners
* Good understanding of data protection and confidentiality
* Empathy, integrity and a professional approach
* Willingness to work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends
* Commitment to equality, diversity and safeguarding
Interview Process:
* Candidates will undergo in-person interviews, consisting of competency-based questions. Interviews will take place on Monday
23rd February 2026 at our office in Warrington.
