We’re looking to connect with experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers who are interested in future opportunities in the Birtley area. If you’re a reliable, professional driver looking to work with a well‑organised operation, we’d love to hear from you.
You’ll be delivering chilled, ambient and frozen goods to Co-op stores. These are straightforward cage and tail‑lift deliveries, operating from a clean depot with well‑maintained vehicles.
Pay Rates:
• Days: From £19.06 per hour
• Nights: From £20.60 per hour
• Weekends: Up to £23.49 per hour
• All rates are PAYE, and holiday pay is accrued separately
Shift Information:
• Typical start times: 03:30 - 09:30
• Usual shift length: 10–11 hours
• Full training provided following a successful driving assessment.
Requirements:
• Valid Class 1 HGV C+E licence and Driver CPC and Tachograph Card
• Minimum 6 months of recent HGV driving experience required
• No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
