What skills and experience we're looking for
Two new posts for Inclusion Managers are being introduced at Mayfield to support the school’s goal to create a more devolved leadership structure. The Inclusion Managers will be based on one site only and will work closely with pupils, class teams, parents and other professionals to facilitate positive engagement in the annual review process. A typical day for an Inclusion Manager will include planning annual reviews, engaging pupils, parents and other professionals to seek and record their views, chairing annual reviews, ensuring all paperwork is completed and submitted in advance of set deadlines and completing daily lunchtime duties with pupils.
There are two posts available. One role will be based at Wheeler Street, 32.5 hours, Monday to Friday, and the other role will be based at Heathfield Road, 26 hours, Monday to Thursday. Please state clearly in your application whether you wish to be considered for both posts or one post only and, if so, which one.
The successful candidates will be experienced classroom practitioners with good communication and literacy skills and will be well organised, efficient and able to prioritise their work effectively to meet all deadlines. The ability to show respect and empathy towards all stakeholders whilst also enabling them to engage positively in the review process is essential.
