Location: Tamworth, Staffordshire (Hybrid: 2-3 days on site, remainder working from home)

A leading client within the rail industry is currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to support the Tamworth to London scheme, working across the North West and Central framework.

This is a long-term contract opportunity, ideal for a Project Manager with a strong background in rail, civils, and structures, who is comfortable managing multiple schemes simultaneously along a live rail route.

Role Overview
The Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery of multiple rail infrastructure schemes, with individual project values ranging from £100,000 to £4 million. The role will involve full lifecycle project management, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of multiple rail infrastructure schemes
- Oversee projects ranging from £100k to £4m in value
- Coordinate works across the Tamworth to London route
- Ensure compliance with rail safety standards, client requirements, and industry regulations
- Manage programme, cost, risk, and quality across all assigned schemes
- Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders
- Provide regular progress reports and updates to senior management
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the rail industry
- Strong background in civils and structures
- Experience managing multiple schemes concurrently
- Familiarity with working on framework contracts (North West / Central experience desirable)
- Strong commercial, organisational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment
