About the Role
As our Bid Manager, you will take a lead role in managing public sector tenders across the health and social care sector. You’ll analyse tender documents, create persuasive responses, and ensure the delivery of high‑quality submissions that reflect our mission, values, and service excellence.
Working closely with the Head of Bids & Tendering and internal stakeholders, you’ll help drive improvements in our bid processes and contribute directly to our success in securing new business.
What You’ll Be Doing

- Managing end‑to‑end tender submissions, ensuring compliant, engaging and accurately written responses
- Producing high‑quality original content and gathering essential information from subject matter experts
- Completing tender documentation, including online portal submissions
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen bid quality and win rates
- Contributing to reporting, knowledge sharing and maintaining the tender information library
- Collaborating with colleagues across departments to ensure up‑to‑date, accurate and consistent information is included in all submissions
- Working within structured review processes to deliver on time, every time

What We’re Looking For

- Degree-level qualification
- Exceptional written communication skills
- Knowledge of public procurement within the health & social care sector
- Strong project management, planning and time‑management abilities
- High level of computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines, work under pressure and use your own initiative
- Excellent people skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across the organisation
- Methodical approach with outstanding attention to detail
- Willingness to occasionally work outside normal hours and travel for meetings when required
- Passion for supporting people and delivering great customer experience
- Commitment to continuous learning and development
