Summary
Carry out patient consultations via telephone, face-to-face, online triage and occasional home visits where clinically appropriate. Take part, pro rata, in the duty rota. Prescribe in accordance with prescribing guidelines. Process administrative tasks in a timely and efficient manner, including referrals, pathology results, clinic letters and discharge summaries, repeat prescriptions, and other documentation. Maintain clear and accurate clinical records in line with agreed professional standards. Referring patients for specialist input Recording clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards including coding for QOF
