We are seeking a dedicated Learning & Development Trainer to support the Education business unit, delivering key L&D workstreams that underpin the OneISS journey.​

This stand-alone role plays an important part in connecting Placemakers and supporting their development through structured programmes, digital learning systems and targeted upskilling initiatives.

Job Description

We are looking for someone who can confidently oversee core L&D activities identified annually through the Education strategy review.

Current areas of focus include Placemakers Pathway, LMS course maintenance and reporting, induction programme design and implementation, and ongoing partnering with operational stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Deploy and manage the Placemakers Pathway through self-delivery and by upskilling and engaging the Train-the-Trainer community.

Provide Placemakers Train-the-Trainers for new starters and deliver upskilling workshops for existing trainers.

Plan, coordinate, schedule and deliver hybrid Placemakers Pathway training.

Provide regular updates to operational teams to maximise uptake of central L&D courses and initiatives.

Act as the LMS point of contact for Education, managing admin access and supporting operational teams.

Report on LMS compliance and create/maintain Education LMS modules where required.

Work with operations teams to ensure Food Safety course compliance.

Manage staffing and competence development, ensuring appropriate resource-to-performance balance.

Ensure services are delivered in line with contract requirements and OPF/operational processes.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Background in Learning & Development preferred.

Experience delivering training in any form (e.g., teaching, workplace training, facilitation).

Confident and quick to learn new systems, including Excel.

Flexible and willing to travel; must have a full UK driving licence.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
