Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint an IBD Research Nurse to work with the IBD Research team.

This position will suit a motivated, efficient and enthusiastic individual, and will provide an exciting opportunity to have a positive impact on patient care through ground-breaking research.
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 1 year in the first instance. Once an offer of employment has been accepted, you will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service check (Standard DBS check) and a health assessment.
Your work will involve supporting the Inflammatory Bowel Disease trials portfolio (both non-commercial and commercial). This will include identifying and recruiting patients to a range of clinical trials. You will have the key role to enrol participants, conduct trial procedures, administer trial drugs and monitor patients safely, perform follow-up visits and conduct other tasks related to clinical trials. You will be a Registered Adult Nurse able to work under pressure and to function independently and as part of a research team. You will need the capacity to manage competing demands and the ability to build and maintain working relationships with a variety of different staff, both within the CUH and external Vendor and Sponsors. Relevant research experience is essential, as well as some level of experience working in Digestive Diseases/Gastroenterology related areas., as Clear, concise and consistent communication, computer skills as well as handling spreadsheets are essential.
