Summary

Do you have experience as a skilled General Operative / Machine Operative / Factory Operative? Are you looking for a new challenge within a manufacturing company?

Owen Payne Recruitment are seeking experienced General Operatives / Machine Operatives / Factory Operatives to join a leading Steel manufacturing client located in the Wolverhampton area (WV1).

Due to securing high number of contracts and significant investments, the company are now looking for a team of people to come on board and be part of a very exciting future!

***Due to the nature of this role, previous experience working with Steel within a Manufacturing environment is essential due to limited training - please do not apply if you don't have the relevant experience***

Duties such as:

• Using Hand & Power Tools
• Operating overhead cranes as and when required
• Picking, Sorting and organising parts ready for the assembly team
• Machine Operating
• Assembling steel frames
• Reporting directly to Team leaders / Supervisors
• Reading from basic drawings
• Measuring parts out
• Checking incoming vehicles loads to delivery notes and orders
• General Factory duties
• Any other duties as and when required to support business needs

Shifts:

• Monday to Thursday – 07:00 till 15:30
• Friday – 07:00 till 14:30

Rate of pay:

• £12.50 to £13.00 per hour + overtime rates
