Summary

The Faculty of Life, Science and Education is seeking a full-time senior researcher for three years in the first instance to work within the Health, Care and Well-being Research and Innovation Group (HC&W-b RIG). The post-holder in this important position will primarily support the work of Centre for Vision Services Research to support research to evaluate and improve eyecare services and to integrate social care with eye care and PRIME Centre Wales to build research capacity by research, publication and income generation as well supporting. The post-holder will be expected to contribute to the University’s REF submission and have a proven track record of writing and winning research and grant applications with a PhD in a relevant area.

This position is based at the Glyntaff Campus of the University of South Wales but will be undertaken largely on a remote working basis. In person visits to the Centre for Vision Services Research in Cardiff would be encouraged.
