Job Description:
Pascall+Watson are seeking a passionate and talented BIM Technician to support architectural project teams in the use of BIM tools
and workflows, especially Autodesk Revit.
The candidate will provide technical support directly to project team members and liaise with the BIM Coordinator and, to the Head
of BIM, providing feedback on the team’s requirements for training, workflows, or content.
The candidate should be from an architectural background, have good written and oral communication and be competent in the
following areas:
Management
Experience working in an Architectural office environment.
Good knowledge of Architectural and Engineering terminology.
Excellent communications skills both written and verbal.
Excellent organisational skills.
Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information.
Self-motivated and able to take responsibility.
Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks.
Flexible attitude.
Architectural Technologist degree or equivalent.
Production
Setup drawings and make it ready for team to work on.
Review project files for compliance with Standards/protocols.
Implement best practice procedures.
Assisting Architects in drawing production.
Produce accurate 2D drawings, 3D models.
Coordinating drawing production in line with project requirements and in conjunction with other discipline.
Helping to technically deliver CAD/BIM projects in the role of CAD and BIM coordination.
Able to meet tight deadlines and able to work alone or with a team.
To contribute or otherwise assist as required.
To learn, understand and then comply with client and/or Pascall+Watson procedures and standards.
Software
Good working knowledge Autodesk Revit.
Knowledge of Dynamo for Revit and the ability to read and write scripts is advantageous
Experience with BIM360 ecosystem desirable.
Ability to use some of the following: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Office 365.
