Calderdale College is seeking an experienced SEND professional to support learners with EHCPs, SEND needs and Additional Learning Support (ALS). As a key point of contact for students, families and curriculum teams, you will help ensure our most vulnerable learners receive high quality support, make strong progress and experience positive transitions.
In this role, you will lead and coordinate EHCP reviews, maintain compliance with statutory requirements, monitor at risk learners and work closely with external partners to strengthen the local SEND offer. You will also contribute to the ongoing development of SEND provision across the College.
We are looking for someone who:
• Has substantial experience working within SEND in an FE or similar setting.
•  Understands the complexities of EHCP processes, legislation, and funding.
• Are confident leading meetings, managing staff, and working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
• Is passionate about improving outcomes for disadvantaged and vulnerable learners.
• Is organised, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.
This is an excellent opportunity for a committed SEND professional who is passionate about improving outcomes for young people with additional needs and who thrives in a collaborative, learner focused environment.
The College is committed to safeguarding and promotes the welfare of all learners and expects its staff to share this commitment. Employment at the College is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
