Summary
We are looking for a registered nurse or registered biomedical scientist with significant acute experience in an area of high blood usage, to join our small Transfusion Practitioner team, based within the Blood Transfusion department in Pathology. Experience of teaching and supporting colleagues with learning is desirable as one of our principal areas of work is the education of the workforce for whom blood transfusion forms part of their role. The role will give you an opportunity to participate in trust-wide audit and project management in order to improve practice so attention to detail and organisation skills are a definite advantage.
