3 days per week across Wednesday - Sunday
Competitive Salary and Benefits
Permanent
Notting Hill & Ealing High School, one of London’s leading independent girls’ day schools, has an exciting opportunity for a Weekend Caretaker. You will be provided training during the first 3-months of the role within the weekdays and then given independence to take ownership of caretaking responsibilities between Wednesday to Sunday.
The purpose of the role is to help deliver the school’s aims and objectives by ensuring the provision of an efficient and effective site and facilities service, and a safe, secure and welcoming environment for staff, students, visitors and contractors, which supports teaching and learning.
Working under the direction of the Premises Manager, the Caretaker is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, security, cleanliness and presentation of the school’s buildings, grounds and facilities, maintaining consistently high standards and contributing to a first-class estates and facilities service. The ability to respond to emergency situations is essential and a clean UK driving licence is preferred.
The place holder will need to hold a valid enhanced DBS or be eligible for an enhanced DBS with list checks prior to appointment.
