Summary
Senior SEN Teaching Assistant - EYFS & KS1 (SEN School)
This role is a full-time position, starting on 2nd February 2026. Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm and you will be paid £108 a day.
Educato are currently looking to recruit for a consistent and reliable Senior SEN Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing and specialist SEN school, supporting children in EYFS and KS1. All pupils have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and present with a range of complex additional needs.
This is a full-time, long-term role with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
The Role:

Supporting pupils with complex needs on a 1:1 and small-group basis

Working closely with class teachers, therapists and senior leaders to deliver personalised learning

Acting as a senior member of support staff, offering guidance and support to other TAs where required

The Ideal Candidate:

Has significant experience working in an SEN school or SEN provision

Strong understanding of EHCPs, early intervention and child development

Confident supporting children with ASD, communication needs, sensory needs and challenging behaviour
