Hybrid working is supported, but regular on-campus presence is essential to collaborate with colleagues and take part in events.
Who we’re looking for:
As a Content and Campaigns Officer at Marjon, you won’t just create content – you’ll help shape how students connect with the University at every stage of the applicant journey. From first discovering Marjon, to applying, receiving an offer and preparing to start with us, your work will make students feel informed, confident and excited to be part of our friendly and vibrant university community.
Reporting to the Content and Campaigns Manager, you’ll craft clear, engaging and student-focused content across digital and print channels – including email, social media, web – tailored to the needs of each audience at each touchpoint. You’ll help turn key messages, student stories and course highlights into content that not only informs but inspires action and engagement.
You’ll also support CRM communications, website updates, and digital campaign monitoring, using insight and audience feedback to continually refine your work. Working with a wide range of Marjon colleagues, current students – and with external partners when needed – you’ll ensure the Marjon’s brand is consistent, authentic and impactful, helping students and their supporters to feel seen, supported and excited about joining the University.
What you’ll bring:
• You’ll bring creativity and skill in producing content that connects with prospective students, their supporters and other key stakeholders.
• You’ll bring experience supporting digital marketing campaigns, helping to plan and deliver content that reaches the right people at the right time.
• You’ll bring strong organisation and adaptability, confidently managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• You’ll bring excellent written communication, turning complex information into clear, engaging stories with outstanding attention to detail.
• You’ll bring collaborative energy, building strong relationships with colleagues and external partners to make campaigns successful.
• You’ll bring initiative, resilience and the determination to achieve ambitious student number growth targets.
What you’ll do:
• You’ll create engaging content and campaigns that connect with prospective students and their supporters throughout the applicant journey.
• You’ll use CRM communications, data, and insights to make every message timely, relevant, and more effective.
• You’ll help to coordinate digital platforms and marketing materials, keeping content accurate, up to date and aligned with Marjon’s key messages.
You’ll enjoy
• Seeing your content and campaigns make a real difference, helping students feel informed, inspired and connected to Marjon.
• Collaborating with a creative, supportive team to deliver high-impact work.
• Working across channels and projects in a fast-paced environment.
Where you’ll work:
You’ll be based in the External Engagement Directorate on our green campus in the north of Plymouth. While hybrid working is supported, you’ll need a regular on-campus presence to collaborate, attend events, and deliver campaigns effectively.
