French Teacher – The Role
A secondary school based in Ascot, Berkshire is seeking a passionate and inspiring French Teacher to join their Modern Foreign Languages department from April 2026 on a maternity cover basis running until April 2027. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality French lessons across KS3 and KS4, and ideally French to KS5 (A-Level or equivalent), with strong pedagogy and clear differentiation to meet the needs of all learners. You will assess and monitor student progress, collaborate with department colleagues, and contribute to a positive learning culture. This opportunity is suited to both Early Career Teachers seeking valuable experience and experienced teachers looking for a supportive maternity cover placement with scope to make a real impact.
French Teacher – The School
This is a large mixed secondary school with Sixth Form in Ascot, Berkshire, catering for around 1,700 students aged 11–18.
