Summary
An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Classic Car Vehicle Technician / Classic Car Mechanic within a renowned garage (specialising in classic European and American vehicles) located in Woking.
Our Automotive Client has a need for a Classic Car Technician or Classic Car Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.
Benefits:

- OTE potential of approximately £43,000
- Monday to Friday working hours 8am to 6pm
- Opportunities to work on vintage race and performance cars at prestigious events
- Flexible working arrangements, including part-time options for experienced technicians
- Enjoy working on a broad spectrum of classic vehicles from British, American, French, and German origins
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to classic European and American cars
- Tuning carburettors including Weber, SU, Holley, Edelbrock, and other fuel systems
- Setting up chassis and engines, including rolling road testing
- Lead and oversee a team of classic car engineers and technicians
- Fabrication work using MIG and TIG welding for exhaust and custom parts
- Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
- Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience in classic car restoration or engineering, with a focus on European and American vehicles
- Strong knowledge of carburettor tuning and engine setup
- Experience with rolling road testing and chassis alignment is desirable
- Basic fabrication skills including MIG & TIG welding
- Enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and passionate about classic vehicles
- Ability to lead and manage a small team effectively
- Availability to start around February or March to support a busy period
The salary of this role is up to £40,000 basic with OTE of £43,000.
Hours of work for this Classic Car Technician role are: Monday to Friday working hours 8am to 6pm.
