Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Structural Engineer WCR Base to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the design, analysis, and implementation of structural systems for various projects. You will work collaboratively with architects, contractors, and project managers to ensure that all structural elements meet the required specifications and safety standards. The position demands a high level of technical expertise and creativity to solve complex engineering problems while adhering to budgetary and timeline constraints. As a Structural Engineer, you will also be responsible for conducting site inspections, preparing reports, and making recommendations based on your findings. Responsibilities
Design and analyze structural components and systems to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
Prepare detailed structural drawings and specifications using CAD software and engineering design programs.
Conduct site visits and inspections to assess construction progress and ensure adherence to designs.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate structural engineering solutions into overall project plans.
Evaluate existing structures for performance and safety, providing recommendations for upgrades or repairs as necessary.
Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for project stakeholders and clients.
Stay updated with industry standards, codes, and regulations to maintain compliance in structural design and construction practices.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or the ability to obtain licensure within a reasonable timeframe.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, including experience with design and analysis of various structures.
Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, and AutoCAD.
Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards related to structural engineering.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively in complex situations.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
