Summary

Salary: Base salary of £30,000 + 10% London weighting plus Veolia Benefits Package

Location: London-based: 210 London, N1 9JY or London SE14 5RS

Hours: 40 hours per week

Programme Duration: 2-year programme starting September 2026

Graduate Programme;



Our comprehensive Graduate Programme offers hands-on experience working on strategic projects while developing essential personal and professional skills. You'll receive expert training from Veolia's People Development team through monthly sessions at our Kingswood (Cannock) office (travel required), giving you the confidence and capabilities to thrive in your future career.

What you'll be doing;

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget, whilst managing schedules, costs, and risks
  • Support project administration and execute assigned activities across key knowledge areas
  • Engage with diverse stakeholders and manage expectations throughout project lifecycles
  • Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety policies and Veolia organisational procedures
  • Support Business Development through business plans, feasibility studies, and maintain a business opportunity register
  • Manage connection enquiries from prospective clients, including scoping, system modelling, and preparing commercial proposals for District Heating network connections
  • Conduct technical assessments of existing systems to monitor operational performance
  • Assist in developing project programmes, work instructions, traffic management plans, method statements, and RAMS in collaboration with internal teams



What we're looking for;

  • Degree-level qualification in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or a Project Management qualification (to be achieved by September 2026)
  • Have an understanding of the project management life cycle
  • Have an understanding of small to medium projects gained in a commercial environment
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to undertake further training and development. The Company is committed to developing and training its staff. Veolia may provide further specific training for the role (for example, CIBSE District heating Code of Practice, CMI Leadership & Management Level 3) if required.
  • Willingness to travel to training locations and potentially (if in a rotational role) relocate for role requirements
