The Consumer Risk Data Lab is seeking a dynamic Product Owner to lead and evolve data‑driven risk products that protect consumers, empower the business, and deliver impactful, innovative solutions.

About this opportunity

The Consumer Risk Data Lab is part of Lloyds Banking Group's Risk division and provides the trusted, accurate and reliable data that helps the organisation make safe and informed decisions for customers. We modernise core risk data platforms, moving from legacy systems to cloud‑based solutions, and work across multiple business areas to ensure data is accessible and ready for analytics, reporting and regulatory needs. Our teams are collaborative, cross‑disciplinary and fast‑moving, delivering complex change while improving how risk data is managed and used. Joining the Lab means helping shape the future of the bank's risk data capabilities and supporting better outcomes for millions of customers.

Day to day, you will:

  • Lead the product vision and roadmap for multiple feature teams, ensuring they focus on the highest‑value work that delivers meaningful outcomes for customers.

  • Shape and refine user stories and customer journeys, using data and insight to drive continuous improvement and support Lab‑wide objectives.

  • Own and champion change delivery, ensuring your teams are fully prepared for implementation through strong governance, readiness planning, and effective communication.

  • Partner closely with engineering to steer the design and development of Group‑wide technology assets, while managing budgets and using data to guide smart investment decisions.

  • Drive excellence in product performance, managing product risk, supplier strategy, and technical planning, while nurturing capability growth across your team.

  • Lead impactful change, introducing new ways of working, supporting major transformation initiatives, and applying deep insight to create innovative, customer‑centric solutions.

  • Leadership experience of multi-disciplinary teams to achieve a common outcome

And any experience of these would be really useful:

  • Financial Services or industries with data at the heart of what they do
