Summary
Job Advert
To assist with the design and development of new products and to support our existing product line.
Key responsibilities include;
Design and review of electronic hardware (schematics, PCBs, cable looms, drawings etc.) using appropriate CAE tools to ensure it
complies with specified requirements.
Produce and test circuits both in theory and practice as part of a test solution and development process.
Contribute to estimates of workload and to the solutions to technical problems.
Contribute to writing design and functional specifications.
Communicate effectively, in speech and writing.
Build effective working relationships with the team and with other key stakeholders based on mutual trust and respect that ensure
the resolution of problems locally.
Help create a positive, enthusiastic, supportive working environment.
Competencies required;
The ability to use industry standard CAD tools (e.g. Kicad, Alibre).
The ability to provide technical input to hardware related challenges, test solutions, option selection, requirements analysis.
The aility to select components and services based on price and availability.
A hands on approach and participation to the testing of products/systems.
The ability to learn and adapt.
