Summary

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Dismantler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient dismantling of various vehicle components, ensuring that all parts are handled with care and precision. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work efficiently and quickly with both hand and power tools. A strong history in the automotive industry or proven knowledge of vehicles in depth would be advantageous. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. The role would suit a highly motivated individual keen to fit into a fast paced and professional environment.
Responsibilities
Depolluting the vehicles of all their fluids using specialist equipment in line with environmental regulations.
Dismantling parts in line with job requests, identify and remove parts ensuring no damage to the part or surrounding parts.
Tag each part once removed from vehicle in line with our management system.
Good communication and teamwork to overcome any problems that arise within the dismantling process.
Be able to work efficiently but safely in all aspects of the dismantling process.
Use relevant machinery to help with the dismantling process.
Complete any other tasks as may be required.
Experience
This role would ideally be filled by someone with previous experience in the motor trade/ dismantling sector.
Experience using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers, as well as power tools like drills and saws.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills are critical for success in this position.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
40 hours per week Monday - Friday 8.30-5.30
Working outdoors is expected.
Own tools preferred but not essential.
Forklift driving - training can be provided if not already held.
Manual work with some heavy lifting.
