Summary

Hours: 23 per week

Reason for Hire: Maternity leave cover (3–6 months)
About the Client
Conwy County Borough Council’s Integrated Adult and Community Services team provides essential support to residents across the region. The Disability Admin Support Team plays a key role in ensuring efficient, high‑quality administrative services across multiple strands of the Disability Service, supporting both internal teams and external partners.
The Role
This position provides comprehensive administrative support across the three strands of the Disability Service (<25, >25, and Resources/Early Intervention & Prevention). The role includes front‑of‑house duties, telephony support across two sites, and assisting with the screening, transfer, and signposting of disability‑related enquiries for both Social Care and BCULHB Learning Disability.
The post holder will ensure all work complies with Data Protection, internal processes, and statutory timescales, contributing to a high‑quality, efficient, and effective service.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support across all areas of the Disability Service.
Deliver front‑of‑house, reception, and telephony support across two office locations.
Screen, transfer, and signpost incoming disability‑related calls for Social Care and BCULHB Learning Disability.
Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, Data Protection, and statutory requirements.
Support the team in meeting service objectives and maintaining high standards of delivery.
Candidate Requirements
Good standard of education (5 GCSEs or equivalent).
Strong technology and software skills.
Typing, active listening, and excellent organisational skills.
Effective planning and problem‑solving abilities.
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work on rotation between Colwyn Bay and Craig y Don (Canolfan Riviere Day Centre).
