We are looking for someone with:
• A degree in sports coaching or a related discipline
• Successful experience coaching hockey within schools, clubs and the England Hockey Player Pathway
• A minimum UKCC Level 2 Hockey Coaching Award
• Strong technical and tactical knowledge and a passion to develop further
• Excellent communication, organisation and administrative skills
• The ability to plan, implement and adapt training sessions for a range of abilities
• An umpiring qualification (desirable)
This is a permanent, full time role averaging 42 hours per week, worked Monday to Saturday during term time (32.6 weeks per year), with occasional Sunday work required for fixtures.
In return you will receive a salary of £24,000 per annum (inclusive of holiday pay) along with a number of staff benefits including freshly prepared lunches for only £10.30 per month, access to the school facilities, and discounts/cashback on high street shops and restaurants through the school’s Employee Assistance Programme.
