Summary

Join our dynamic team as an Administrator and become an essential part of our Birmingham Highways Maintenance Contract support to the Interim Investment Period (IIP) Planner. This is your chance to be part of meaningful projects that enhance community infrastructure while developing your skills in a supportive environment.



Location: Thimble Mill Lane, Birmingham - site based 5 days per week

Hours: 12-month Fixed Term 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

Salary: £27,976 - £30,000 + excellent benefits

What will you be responsible for?

As an Administrator, you'll be working within the Programme Management team, helping them deliver multiple infrastructure improvement schemes across Birmingham's highway network.

Your day to day will include:

-Managing permit applications, monitoring statuses, and maintaining compliance documentation

-Updating programme schedules and tracking systems for various schemes

-Maintaining accurate records and creating reports for weekly meetings

-Supporting the Programme Manager with administrative tasks and communications

-Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth workflow across projects



What are we looking for?

This role of Administrator is great if you:

-Have proven experience providing administrative support, ideally in highways maintenance or construction environments

-Demonstrate strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

-Posses clear confident communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationship

-Are proficient with Microsoft Office and able to quickly learn new project management systems and tools
