I am recruiting on behalf of a leading care provider looking for an experienced Deputy Home Manager to join their dedicated team supporting adults with autism and learning disabilities. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role in a nurturing and person-centred environment.
The Role
As Deputy Home Manager, you will support the Home Manager in ensuring the home runs smoothly, safely, and to the highest standards. You will:
Lead and inspire the senior care team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
Assist in implementing personalised care plans, supporting residents to achieve their goals with dignity and independence.
Build strong relationships with residents, families, colleagues, and external professionals.
Oversee compliance, risk assessments, and safety checks, ensuring regulatory standards are met.
Support onboarding, training, and development for new staff, fostering a positive and motivated team culture.
Play a key role in audits, quality checks, and service improvements.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Team Leader, or Senior Support Worker in a residential care setting.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide, motivate, and develop staff.
Excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach to compliance, risk, and daily operations.
A passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
Resilience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting residents and colleagues alike.
