Summary

I am currently recruiting for a nursery practitioner to join a welcoming and well-established early years setting based in Grays. This is a full-time opportunity offering flexibility, excellent rates of pay, and on-site parking, making it ideal for experienced early years professionals looking for their next role.

As a nursery practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework, creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

The Role

In this nursery practitioner position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting children’s emotional, physical, and educational development


  • Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities in line with EYFS


  • Observing, assessing, and recording children’s progress


  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and parents/carers


  • Ensuring safeguarding, health, and safety procedures are followed at all times


    Hours & Pay
    • Hours options:

      • 8:00am – 6:00pm, 4 days per week


      • 9:00am – 5:00pm, 5 days per week



      • Pay: From £13.69 per hour


      • Location: Grays


      • Parking: On-site parking available


        Requirements

        To be successful as a nursery practitioner, you will need:

        • A relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 minimum)


        • Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting


        • A strong understanding of the EYFS framework


        • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with children


        • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
