We’re recruiting for a Support Manager to lead two small supported living services in Blackpool, supporting 8 adults with a range of needs to live independently, safely, and with dignity in their own homes.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and experienced care professional ready to step into a leadership role within a values-led charity that truly puts people first.
About the Role
As Support Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day leadership, quality, and compliance of two supported living services. You’ll lead from the front supporting your team, working closely with families and professionals, and ensuring the people we support live meaningful, fulfilling lives.
You will be:
Leading and motivating a team of support staff
Ensuring person-centred support is delivered at all times
Overseeing care planning, risk assessments, and reviews
Managing rotas, staffing, and performance
Maintaining high standards in line with CQC and regulatory requirements
Supporting individuals to access the community, develop independence, and achieve personal goals
Acting as the key point of contact for families, professionals, and commissioners

Essential:
Minimum Level 3 in Health & Social Care
Previous leadership or senior experience in social care (Team Leader, Senior Support Worker, Deputy, etc.)
Experience working in supported living, learning disabilities, autism, or complex needs
Strong understanding of person-centred care and safeguarding
Full UK driving licence – must be a driver
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Desirable:
Experience with CQC compliance
Experience supporting people with behaviours of concern or complex needs
❤️ What You’ll Get
The chance to lead a small, stable service where you can really know the people you support
A supportive charity culture with strong values
Ongoing training and development
