Summary

Your new firm
Our client is a Top 30 International firm with a strong reputation for delivering exceptional legal services across multiple sectors. With a comprehensive network of offices in the UK and abroad, this firm combines global reach with a local presence. As part of their strategic growth plan for the Real Estate Finance practice, they are seeking a talented Associate to join their highly regarded Exeter team.

Your new role
You will be joining a market-leading Real Estate Finance team that advises major lenders, investors, and developers on complex financing transactions. The team works across a range of sectors including commercial property, residential development, and investment portfolios. You will play a key role in supporting high-value transactions, drafting and negotiating finance documents, and managing client relationships.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a Real Estate lawyer with a strong property foundation from your training and ideally have experience of advising on property finance matters. Experience acting for banks, alternative lenders, and borrowers on secured lending, development finance, and investment transactions would be fantastic, but it's your willingness to adapt and apply your commercial property skills that is of equal interest. Strong technical skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage a varied caseload are essential.

What you'll get in return
You will have the opportunity to work for a market-leading firm with both a global reach and a significant presence in the Southwest market. This firm offers an excellent work-life balance, a supportive and collaborative culture, and a clear focus on career development.

Flexible and hybrid working options are available, making this an attractive opportunity for lawyers based in the Southwest or those looking to relocate.

What you need to do now
If you are interested in this role or would like further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
If this job isn't right for you but you are looking for a new opportunity, please feel free to get in touch for a confidential discussion about your career.

We would expect a lawyer with the given PQE to have gained the level of experience required, but this does not preclude applications from those with more or less PQE.
