We are looking for an AAT Technician or Part Qualified Accountant to join us in the role of Associate Finance Business Support Officer at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As an Associate Finance Business Support Officer, you will be part of a team working under the Business Partnering Division, supporting other Divisions in various accounting and financial tasks. The post holder will deliver professional and timely financial and business support and be fully integrated with the core activities within the organisation. The post holder will also contribute to developing a culture of strong financial stewardship and control within the Trust promoting the need for economy, efficiency and effectiveness in all aspects of the Trusts business. This role represents an excellent opportunity to use and develop your skills within a varied and busy environment. The successful candidate will be a qualified AAT Technician or Part Qualified Accountant and a member of their accountancy organisation, be reliable and flexible to respond to changing demands of the service. Previous NHS experience is desirable but not essential. This advert may close early if we have received a sufficient number of applications. You will be based at either Newcourt House in Exeter or Devonshire House in Barnstaple but may be required to travel between sites as needed. We work in a hybrid office environment with a minimum of two days in the office. Flexibility and adaptability are essential to succeed in this role.
