Summary

Have you walked the path? Do you have the 'Lived Experience' or the housing background to lead others toward a brighter future?

We are looking for two extraordinary individuals to join a leading Derby homelessness charity. We don't just want "staff"—we want champions, advocates, and mentors who believe that a person’s past doesn’t define their future.

We use an 'Advantaged Thinking' approach. We don't just look at problems; we look at strengths, talents, and potential. Your mission is to help residents unlock those assets and move toward true independence.

Be a Champion: Work alongside residents who have experienced trauma, helping them identify their unique talents.

Relationship Builder: Build deep, trusting bonds and act as a powerful advocate with health services and landlords.

Life Skills Coach: Support residents with everything from housing management to preparing for their very own front door.

The Details & The Rota:
This is a boots-on-the-ground, full-time role (35 hours) that requires flexibility to meet our residents when they need us most.

The Rota: Includes some late evenings and a 1 in 4 weekend rotation.

Salary: £23,569 - £25,407 (pending pay award).

Must-Haves: You must be a car driver with access to your own vehicle and be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check.

How we look after YOU:
Your Time: 25 days annual leave PLUS your Birthday off every year!
Your Health: Access to the Smart Health App (Online GP, Mental Health support & nutrition).
Your Value: Regular treats, long service rewards, and annual "Star of the Quarter" celebrations.

Ready to use your experience to change lives?
If you have lived experience of homelessness, a background in supported housing, or simply the grit and empathy to make a difference, let’s talk.
