Location: Brixworth, West Northamptonshire - travel to the office required at least 3 days per week Hours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us
Salary: £85,000 - £95,000 per year + 25% bonus + £7,350 annual car allowance + private healthcare + excellent benefits

What will you be responsible for?As a Commercial Manager, you'll be working with local authorities across the Midlands, ensuring project delivery is both cost-effective and compliant with NEC terms and conditions. Your day to day will include:
-Managing the commercial performance of major projects, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations
-Monitoring project costs and financial risks, providing transparent reporting to stakeholders
-Building relationships with local authority clients to ensure service delivery meets expectations
-Leading a team of quantity surveyors to deliver accurate measurement and valuation of works
-Working collaboratively with procurement teams to negotiate favourable terms with supply chain partners
What are we looking for?This role of Commercial Manager is great if you:
-Hold a Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
-Bring experience in a commercial role within highways or infrastructure, ideally within a local authority setting
-Possess strong knowledge of NEC contracts and be confident in managing contractual obligations
-Demonstrate strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets effectively
