3. Experimental characterization of dynamic metamaterials
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural dynamics, wave propagation, smart structures, or mechanical metamaterials, with the ability to contribute across computational and experimental investigations. During the project, you will develop an independent research programme within the designated area while working with appropriate guidance, support, and supervision. You will be expected to publish in high-quality journals and present at leading conferences, contributing to the visibility and influence of the research. You will also participate in relevant academic forums and training activities to build advanced research skills and professional networks. In addition, you will contribute to the wider university research environment through activities such as seminars, workshops, and early career researcher forums, and support knowledge-sharing with project stakeholders.
