Summary
To independently perform adult transthoracic Echocardiograms in accordance with the departmental protocol. Write comprehensive clinical reports in a timely manner and escalate any new findings for clinical review. Manage own CPD including BSE accreditation Establish and maintain good working relationships with all members of the organisation. Maintain patient confidentiality in line with the Trust policies. Actively participate in MDT meetings Ensure that all equipment is in working order and promptly report faults without delay. Evaluate and assess new equipment prior to purchase in collaboration with the Echo lead. Have an awareness of the health and safety implications for Echocardiographers in relation to ergonomics whilst scanning and take all necessary steps to minimise injury to oneself.
