Summary
To assist the Trust Tracking Team in the provision of a fast and responsive patient focused service within the Acute Trust and to ensure that there is a systematic approach in the delivery of targets. The main focus of this role will be data quality validation and involve tracking patients through the 18 week pathway ensuring that patients are treated within this period. This role will provide the applicant with the opportunity to build effective working relations with staff within the organisation.

· To be aware of waiting times targets and track patients progress against Trust targets
· To assist with the validation of weekly reports ensuring any errors recorded on the system are amended.
· To support RTT Validation Managers in identifying data quality issues in relation to the 18 week rules and when appropriate liaise through Divisional OPS Managers to reach a solution.
· Alert the RTT Validation Managers to issues of concerns and potential breaches.
· To analyse, check and identify patient pathways on the EPR system to validate the 18 week pathways.
· To extract patient information from patients case notes when appropriate ensuring patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.
· Alert RTT Validation Managers of any issues in other Departments such as Diagnostics and Outpatients
· Support colleagues within All Divisions in achievement of Government and Trust targets and Data quality validation.
