An exciting opportunity exists within the Council’s Environmental Crime & Behavioural Change Team.
This position plays an important role in implementing our approach to tackling fly-tipping, contaminated bins, Dog Fouling, littering and abandoned vehicles.
No two days will ever be the same with some investigations leading to cross county and cross organisation collaborative work.
Previous experience of enforcement work including the issuing of legal notices, fixed penalties, working in line with PACE and investigatory practices are all essential to the role.
We are seeking an individual with exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills, who is committed reducing the impacts of environmental crime through the effective 3 “E” strategy, engagement, education and enforcement.
