Summary
Key Responsibilities
Clean resident bedrooms, bathrooms, communal areas, and offices to a high standard
Follow infection prevention and control procedures at all times
Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely in line with COSHH guidelines
Dispose of waste correctly, including clinical and domestic waste
Replenish cleaning supplies and report stock needs
Report maintenance issues, hazards, or concerns promptly
Respect resident privacy, dignity, and confidentiality
Work cooperatively with care staff to minimise disruption to residents
Follow health & safety and company policies
Essential Requirements
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good attention to detail and time management
Respectful, caring, and professional attitude
Willingness to undergo DBS check
Willingness to complete infection control and mandatory training
Desirable (Not Essential)
Previous cleaning or domestic experience
Experience in healthcare or care home settings
Knowledge of infection control standards
