Job Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Site-Based Cleaning Operative to join our team atAugustus House, Leamington Spa CV32 6JG . In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across thesite.Your efforts will directly contribute to the health, hygiene, andcomfort of the residents and staff at each site.
Approved Premises play a key role in supporting individuals released from prison, offering enhanced supervision and rehabilitation within the community.This role will give you insight into working in a residential setting with vulnerable and complex individuals, providing meaningful work that supports positive change.
What you’ll do:
- Focus on the details and complete a list of scheduled cleaning tasks
- Periodic deep cleaning of certain areas, instructed by supervisor
- Ensure all areas, including kitchens, toilets, communal areas are cleaned and are presentable
- Replenishing stock and consumables such as toilet tissue and hand soaps
- You'll work closely with the security team, reporting any faults or hazards..whilst also helping maintain the cleanliness of theirareas too!
- This role requires you to have an approachableattitude
What you bring:
- Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses is desirable, but not essential- our great training will ensure you are fully trained in all areas of health and safety!
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Can work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed
- Be a team player and take instruction
