Summary
We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our United Utilities AMP8 Enterprise Framework Programme team based in Warrington.
Location: Warrington - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.
Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

An exciting opportunity awaits to join our team delivering United Utilities' largest ever AMP programme. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a vital role in the commercial management of wastewater treatment plant upgrades, chemical removal projects, and bio-resource enhancements across our portfolio. Working collaboratively with clients, stakeholders and your own team, you'll help ensure projects are delivered efficiently while maximizing value.
What will you be responsible for? As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Commercial team, supporting them in delivering outstanding financial management across our water projects. Your day to day will include:
-Managing project budgets, cost reporting and value forecasting to ensure financial success
-Building collaborative relationships with our Enterprise client, SST and delivery partners
-Overseeing procurement and subsequent financial management of sub-contract agreements
-Implementing effective contract change control procedures, including client notifications
-Nurturing and developing junior team members to reach their full potential
What are we looking for? This role of Senior Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:
-You have experience working on framework civils/utilities contracts
-You're knowledgeable about NEC contracts with Target Costs
-You enjoy building relationships and have excellent communication skills
-You're focused on creating collaborative solutions with clients and stakeholders
-You have a degree in Quantity Surveying and are working towards professional membership
