Summary
Proactive Personnel ltd are currently recruiting for a Pipe Welders mate to work at various sites throughout the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting pipefitters & welders with the preparation and setup of pipe fabrications.
Handling and positioning steel pipework for welding.
Using hand and power tools to cut, grind, and prepare surfaces / weld end preparations.
Ensuring work areas are kept safe and tidy.
Following site safety procedures and guidelines at all times.
Requirements:
Familiarity with welding equipment and tools.
Previous experience as a Welders Mate or similar role.
Must have experience using Burning Equipment
Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings (preferred).
CSCS card
£Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
An immediate start is available
