Crynodeb
We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Sales & Estimating Coordinator to join our clients busy sales office. This role is ideal for someone with experience in engineering or manufacturing who enjoys working with customers, preparing quotations, and supporting internal departments to ensure a smooth order process.
You will play a vital part in maintaining strong customer relationships, providing exceptional service, and ensuring enquiries are handled efficiently from quotation through to order completion.
Full-Time | Monday–Friday
Hours:
Monday –Thursday: 08:30–17:00
Friday: 08:30–16:30
Key Responsibilities:
Handling incoming sales enquiries by phone and email
Monitoring and responding promptly to customer emails
Preparing quotations based on customer requirements
Processing sales orders and generating works order packages
Raising purchase orders for stock items
Maintaining a high level of customer service and communication
Building and developing strong relationships with existing and potential customers
Liaising effectively with manufacturing, warehouse, and accounts teams
Essential Skills & Experience:
Strong Maths and English skills
Background in engineering or manufacturing
Confident computer literacy, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Excellent attention to detail
Experience in estimating and/or sales
Confident, friendly communication skills (telephone & email)
Ability to multitask with minimal supervision in a fast-paced office
Strong team player with good cross-department communication
Desirable:
Experience using SAGE 200
Knowledge of flange or pipework products
