Your new role
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in managing material movements across the facility and ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded on the ERP system. Your responsibilities will include:
- Loading and unloading vehicles, receiving and checking deliveries, and reporting discrepancies before booking items into the system
- Booking parts into the ERP system and ensuring prompt put‑away
- Issuing materials to and from designated areas using the inventory management system
- Scanning and filing all paperwork accurately
- Completing regular stock counts and reporting any discrepancies
- Preparing job kits by printing job lists, picking orders, wrapping, packing, labelling and shipping to internal and external customers
- Ensuring all orders are dispatched within required deadlines
- Reviewing and ordering factory consumables as needed
- Maintaining all storage and stock areas in a safe, tidy and organised condition
- Adhering to and promoting all safety procedures, including correct use of PPE and equipment
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous experience in a fast‑paced stores or warehouse environment
- A valid forklift licence (desirable)
- Strong computer literacy, including MS Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
