Your new role
This role is central to supporting the company's position as an engineering-led manufacturer, delivering high-quality, reliable products through efficient and controlled manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to identify root causes of manufacturing and quality issues, implement sustainable engineering solutions, and drive continuous improvement across the factory. This is a practical, hands-on, workshop-based engineering role, requiring strong engagement with shop floor operations and cross-functional teams rather than a purely desk-based approach.
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Continuous Improvement, or Industrial Engineering within a production environment
- Strong working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and structured problem-solving techniques
