Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
Main responsibilities will be:
• The delivery of creative play opportunities in a safe and caring environment
• The provision of full care for the children including safe collection from classrooms
• Monitoring and assisting children with the snacks and food service
• Assist in the preparation of appropriate play activities
• Setting out, clearing away and maintaining materials and equipment required by the children
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene standards
• Administering basic first aid as appropriate
• Encouraging support and involvement in play activities
• Maintain close liaison with parents and other extended services staff
• Carry out all responsibilities and activities within an equal opportunities framework.
• Attend relevant meetings as required
• Participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required
• Any other related duties and responsibilities as may arise but which do not change the character of the post
• Can be flexible if cover for sickness is required
