Summary

At Sidney Stringer Multi Academy Trust, we are currently seeking to appoint a MAT Assistant Facilities Manager to play a key operational role within our Estates and Site Services function. This is an exciting opportunity to support the safe, secure, and effective operation of our school sites, working within a welcoming and supportive environment for the benefit of staff and students across the Trust.Job overviewThe Assistant Facilities Manager will support the delivery of day-to-day facilities and site services across all Trust schools, under the direction of the MAT Facilities Manager. The role involves coordinating operational site activity, supervising Site Services staff, and ensuring that buildings, grounds, and facilities are safe, compliant, clean, and fit for purpose.The post holder will work closely with Headteachers, School Operations Managers, contractors, and MAT central teams to ensure statutory compliance, effective maintenance, and high operational standards across multiple sites. They will also deputise for the MAT Facilities Manager when required, contributing to continuity of service and effective incident response.
