Summary
The Information Governance Team are dedicated to making sure information about patients and our colleagues is safe and secure. The team provides guidance to colleagues across the Trust through policies, induction training, refresher courses, and phone and online support. The team carry out compliance controls through reviewing IG incidents, privacy impact assessments, information sharing agreements and data flow mapping, providing assurance through service reviews and compliance reports

You will provide effective administrative support to the Information Governance Team, including minute taking, diary management and triaging both internal and external enquiries. They will support both the freedom of information (FOI) and individual rights requests functions by delivering the end-to-end process of safe and efficient disclosure of medical and corporate records.
You'll deliver excellent customer service, manage telephone and email queries, ensuring that these are resolved efficiently, effectively and escalated where required. The post holder will act as the first point of contact for service enquiries and assess all requests received by Topdesk.
You'll support senior colleagues within the team with conducting compliance reviews on a regular basis.
