A fantastic opportunity to spend six months working on the beautiful island of Jersey. Our client is a well‑established 73‑bedroom, 3‑star hotel serving up to 160 guests during peak season, with a loyal mix of UK and European holidaymakers.
They are now seeking a Seasonal Sous Chef to support the Head Chef and help deliver high‑quality cuisine throughout the busy summer season.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Supporting and deputising for the Head Chef
• Leading and motivating the kitchen team
• Maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards
• Ensuring consistent quality across breakfast and dinner service
• Helping manage the day‑to‑day operation of a busy kitchen serving up to 160 guests
About the Operation
• Bed & Breakfast service
• Plated breakfast: 7:30am–9:30am
• Continental breakfast available earlier
• No lunch service
What’s on Offer
• £17 per hour
• Live‑in accommodation
• 6‑day working week
• Split shifts (breakfast & dinner only)
• Average 42 hours per week
• 1.5 days holiday per month worked
• Lieu day if working a public holiday
• Contract: 20th April – 6th October 2026

• A strong Sous Chef with experience in busy hotel or restaurant kitchens
• Confident leading a team and stepping up in the Head Chef’s absence
