Our client are a 73 bedroomed three star Hotel, catering for 160 guests during our high season their client base is split between the European and United Kingdom Market catering for families and couples who are in general, on holiday rather than business.
They have built up a large base of repeat clients over the years and we are looking to continue to improve our standards both in comfort and the standard cuisine, which is offered.
The client operates on a Bed and breakfast basis and it is served plated between the hours of 7.30 am until 09.30 am, continental breakfast is served before this hour.
During the dinner hours of 18.30 – 2030 , they offer an a la carte menu.
The ideal candidate will work in partnership with the Head Chef to motivate the kitchen staff and work as a team, deputise for the Head Chef in his absence to ensure hygiene standards are met and maintained within the kitchen.
You will also be able to work alongside the Head Chef to ensure the standard of cuisine is maintained and as expected of a three star establishment catering for 160 guests.
We are looking for someone who will assist the Head Chef with the day to day running of this busy department.
The sous role brief
• 42 hours per week
• One and a half day’s holiday for every month worked.
• One day off in lieu given if it is necessary to work on a public Holiday.
• Accommodation is provided.
• All meals are provided
• The shifts are split shifts i.e. breakfast and dinner (no lunch).
• The Gross salary is £17 per hour £3094 per month, a deduction for board and lodging is £725 per month, social security deduction of 6% is applicable and it is necessary to register with the local tax department.
• Position is available from 20th April 2026 until 6th October 2026.
