Care First, an award-winning permanent recruitment business, is recruiting Support Workers (Day Shifts) for a high-quality, CQC-registered extra care service supporting older adults aged 60+.

The Support Worker Role

You will provide emergency, person-centred care and support, helping residents to live safely, independently and with dignity.

Support Worker Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering care in line with individual care plans
• Supporting with emergency personal care only, mobility, nutrition and first aid
• Monitoring wellbeing and escalating concerns appropriately
• Supporting individuals with complex needs in emergency situations
• Planning and running social activities to reduce loneliness
• Maintaining accurate care records
• Working in line with CQC standards and safeguarding procedures

Shifts are 12.25 hours on an 8-week rolling rota, including some weekends.

About You as a Support Worker

• Experience in health & social care
• Understanding of person-centred care and safeguarding
• Confident working independently and within a team
• Strong communication skills and a caring approach
• Flexible to work long day shifts, weekends and bank holidays

Desirable: Care Certificate, Level 2/3 Health & Social Care, CQC experience.
